Insul-Deck is the fast, lightweight, forming-system solution for concrete floor and roof construction. It comes pre-engineered, pre-cut, pre-labeled and staged for quick and easy placement on site.

Insul-Deck is the fast, flexible and safe method to build a concrete floor or roof that saves labor, time and money. Experienced crews are installing panels and rebar support and pouring concrete in one minute per square foot, cutting labor time 30 to 50%.

Insul-Deck’s patented process integrates utility chases within the forming system, so utilities are easier to install in the pre-molded access channels. If needed, the Expanded Polystyrene can be removed easily to make larger utility runs.

Insul-Deck offers a variety of insulation and roof or floor thicknesses. Form depths up to 12-1/2” produce deeper supporting ribs which allow spans up to 30 feet with non-post-tension methods. Post-tensioned floors and roofs with Insul-Deck’s standard forms allow spans up to 40 feet with less depth.

At Casa Bella Verde, Insul-Deck insulated concrete forms double as the floor of the pool and roof of the cistern.

The Expanded Polystyrene material also has excellent insulating properties.

Insul-Deck’s patented process produces self-supporting, steel beams and furring strips. Any type of interior finish can quickly be mechanically attached to the integral steel furring strips with drywall screws.

Square sections of Insul-Deck creating a "waffle-grid" are used to form cross beams for the specially designed cantilever structure which is to be the base of the master suite bedroom.

No other process is faster form-to-finish than Insul-Deck. Insul-Deck takes just three steps: place, pour and finish. For pre-cast and pan and deck, you need a crane and/or have to remove the forms. With Insul-Deck: you pour it, you finish it - you can take it to the bank.

Shoring & Bracing: Installer is responsible for the design and correct installation of Shoring of Insul-Deck forms in accordance with the ACI (American Concrete Institute) 347-04 “Guide to Formwork for Concrete” or current applicable codes. Any variance from those standards must be provided and certified in advance by a Structural Engineer, licensed for the job site location and specifications.

Reinforced Concrete: Installer is responsible for placement of all reinforcing steel in accordance with the ACI (American Concrete Institute) 318-05 “Building Code Requirements for Structural Concrete” or current applicable codes. Any variance from those standards must be provided and certified in advance by a Structural Engineer, licensed for the job site location and specifications.
