Safety Harbor, Fl., (August 30, 2006) — For immediate release
In accordance with its constant objective to serve clients better, Insul-Deck®, LLC has moved its East Coast plant from Florence, Ky., to Villa Rica, Ga. The Atlanta region, a crossroad of major highways, positions the company closer to its clients and several large-scale developments currently under construction that use the Insul-Deck system.
Production will resume in Atlanta by mid-September 2006.
The new plant in Villa Rica, Ga., off Interstate 20, allows Insul-Deck to increase volumes and logistical efficiency. The new location is also strategically better for increasing sales for commercial projects in the South, specifically the coastal areas.
Orders for Villa Rica are now received and scheduled to be produced on a first-come first-served basis. Insul-Deck will do its utmost to minimize bottlenecks and keep the lead-time as low as possible.
This move does not affect Insul-Deck’s West Coast operations. The Vancouver plant’s sales will continue as usual. Customer Service and Administration will work without interruption from the Florence, Ky., offices.
Note to Editors: Insul-Deck is the first U.S. manufacturing plant to incorporate Plastbau® technology. For more than 20 years, the Plastbau forming system has been used in a variety of buildings, from homes, condominiums, hotels and schools to high-rise structures throughout Europe.
